Lotus teases second driver announcement
Federico Gastaldi says Lotus will reveal the identity of its second driver for the 2016 Formula 1 season 'sooner rather than later', adding that it is speaking to drivers with 'good provenance'. Though Lotus' future itself remains up in the air as discussions with Renault about its potential sale continue behind the scenes, the Enstone-based outfit is forging on with its 2016 plans regardless. Having confirmed Pastor Maldonado will stay with the team last month, several drivers have been linked to the available second seat to replace the Haas-bound Romain Grosjean.
