Hamilton: Cherishing the moment and feeling really blessed
Lewis Hamilton helped himself to maximum points while his only title rival and Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg failed to finish the Russian Grand Prix. For the reigning world champion it was career victory number 42 and a major step towards bagging his third Formula 1 World Championship title. He spoke after another succesful Sunday afternoon, this time at Sochi Autodrom. With Nico Rosberg's DNF we were starved of a really exciting race at the very front?
Lewis Hamilton: Absolutely. I was excited because we were quite close together at the beginning and I was thinking: OK, we’ve got a race here. For sure it’s a shame for the team to have lost one of the cars and to not have a race....
