FP1 topped by Hulkenberg as hydraulic fluid spills on Sochi circuit

Force India pulled out a surprise in their opening Russian Grand Innings this morning as Nico Hulkenberg was able to top an albeit not very representative FP1 timesheet. For the majority of the session it was in fact McLaren Honda atop of the timing screens as well as occupying last place as Fernando Alonso was the only driver to have recorded a full time. The reasoning for Alonso being the only driver on track was due to, rather ironically, a cleaning van leaking what is believed to be hydraulic fluid (oil) on circuit at 0600 this morning, which incidentally pushed back the start time of FP1 by half an hour and as a direct result of that cut the sessions time from 90 minutes to just 60...
