Palmer back in at Lotus for Sochi practice
Jolyon Palmer will make his tenth free practice appearance of the season for the Lotus F1 Team after being confirmed to run in the opening session of the Russian Grand Prix weekend at the Sochi Autodrom. The British driver will once again take to the track in place of Romain Grosjean, and will be looking to make a good impression as he aims to replace the Frenchman full-time in 2016 after Grosjean confirmed he would be leaving to join the Haas F1 Team. Palmer returns to the track on which he clinched the GP2 Series title in 2014 after winning the Feature race at Sochi, although he was forced into retirement in the Sprint race.
