McLaren-Honda confirm Button will stay in 2016

McLaren have confirmed that Jenson Button will remain with the team in 2016, ending speculation that the Briton might retire at the end of the season. The 2009 champion had been considering a future without Formula 1 after enduring a trying season with McLaren which has seen the team score just 17 points so far this season. However following several weeks of negotiations, Button will continue to race alongside team-mate Fernando Alonso for another year."Jenson and I have been discussing his plans in private for the past few weeks, and the fact that our talks have led to today's announcement is very pleasing to both of us and will delight and motivate all at McLaren-Honda,"...
