FIA releases updated provisional 2016 F1 calendar
The FIA has released an updated version of the provisional 2016 Formula 1 calendar, after the latest World Motor Sport Council meeting in Paris. Several changes have been made to the schedule compared to the version released in July. The season looks set to start on the 20 March with the Australian Grand Prix. The race organisers of the Melbourne event previously confirmed the date change, while the Bahrain Grand Prix has now moved to become the second round of the year on the 3 April. The Chinese Grand Prix will be next up on the 17 April, while the Russian Grand Prix remains on its new earlier date of the 1 May. The Spanish Grand Prix will take place two weeks later.
