Ricciardo rues timing of Safety Cars

Daniel Ricciardo believes he would have been able to give Sebastian Vettel a better run for his money in Singapore if it wasn't for the deployment of two Safety Cars. Vettel started in pole position and quickly built a handy lead of nearly six seconds over the Red Bull driver, but Ricciardo hit back during the latter stages of his first stint and managed to get it down to just under four seconds. However, a collision between Nico Hulkenberg and Felipe Massa led to the deployment of first the Virtual Safety Car, which prompted all the front-runners to stop at the same time, and then the real Safety Car.
