Singapore FP3: Vettel tops with Mercedes on back foot

Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari signaled their intent by ending the final free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend fastest of all, with Kimi Raikkonen second best while Mercedes appeared to struggle. Vettel powered around the tricky Marina Bay Circuit to set the best lap time of 1:45.682, which was nearly a half second up on teammate Raikkonen, and notably well over a second up on Lewis Hamilton and 1.5 seconds up on Nico Rosberg – the Mercedes duo finishing fifth and sixth respectively. Ahead of the Silver Arrows pair were the Red Bull lads, Daniil Kvyat third fastest and a tad quicker than teammate Daniel Ricciardo with the RB11 proving to be a handy piece of kit...
