Pirelli set to be granted post-season test
Pirelli is set to be granted an additional tyre test in the days after the 2015 Formula 1 World Championship concludes in Abu Dhabi. The Italian firm has been pushing for more testing time, particularly in the run up to the 2017 season when a wholesale change in regulations are introduced, though a framework for that is yet to be determined. In the meantime though, Pirelli is set to get two days of wet weather testing in January at Paul Ricard and is proposing to get some track time at the Yas Marina Circuit following the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to test a new super-soft compound. “We have been advised that there should be a couple o says in Abu Dhabi to look at the new...
