Hamilton's Italy win in doubt

Lewis Hamilton’s completely dominant victory at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday could be in doubt after both Mercedes failed to pass a technical inspection. Hamilton’s car was found to have breached the tyre pressure rule – his left-hand rear tyre had a slightly lower than legal pressure. Teammate Nico Rosberg's car had the same problem, but Rosberg failed to finish the race. Mercedes have been summoned to the race stewards’ office to explain. The Silver Arrows, though, may have become aware of the issue with about three laps left in the race after frantic messages of the radio to Hamilton.
