Raikkonen surprised to qualify on front row

Kimi Raikkonen says he is surprised to qualify on the front row of the grid for Sunday's Italian Grand Prix. The Ferrari racer easily made it through to Q3 and improved on his final timed lap to displace team-mate Sebastian Vettel for second place. It is his best qualifying result since the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix, when he was driving for Lotus. He was pleased with his performance on Saturday and is hopeful of a strong result in front of Ferrari's home fans. 'I think if we look now, we probably surprised ourselves a little bit,' the Finnish driver admitted.
