Lewis Hamilton: “The best pit call I’ve ever made

Lewis Hamilton thanked the support from the Silverstone fans after taking an emotional third British Grand Prix victory and his fifth win of 2015 on Sunday. The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver recovered from a relatively poor start to drop behind both Williams Martini Racing drivers, but recovered well to lead after the initial pit stop cycle, and then judged his switch to intermediate tyres to perfection to lead home team-mate Nico Rosberg. “It's been a very, very special weekend for me,” revealed Hamilton. “I thought I'd seen it all last year but the fans have just been unbelievable. I could never have imagined this level of support – this one is for them. Thank you all so much....
