Force India aiming for preservation until Austria

Sahara Force India Force India team principal Vijay Mallya says the aim of his squad is to remain within touching distance of its midfield rivals until its B-spec car is ready for the Austrian Grand Prix next month. Mallya's squad is currently eighth in the teams' championship but is just a solitary point behind Toro Rosso and Lotus, with Red Bull and Sauber only a handful of points further ahead. "It’s fair to say that we’ve had mixed fortunes during the opening four races," said Mallya ahead of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
