McLaren drivers putting brave face on Q1 elimination

Jenson Button & Fernando Alonso were both eliminated from Q1 in Malaysian qualifying today, but both feel the team continue to make moves in the right direction. Neither driver had technical problems during Q1, and ran the medium tyres, but were unable to get into the next stage of qualifying. In the closing minute, Jenson Button pipped Alonso to take 17th place, with the Spaniard taking 18th place.
