Alonso testing accident still being investigated

The reasons behind Fernando Alonso's crash during pre-season testing in Barcelona is still yet to be determined, but McLaren maintains it has 'nothing to hide' from its end. The two-time world champion is missing the opening round of the 2015 F1 season in Australia after crashing his McLaren at the Circuit de Catalunya. Briefly knocked unconscious and suffering a concussion, though Alonso was passed as fit by McLaren, his own doctors determined that he should not race in Melbourne. As it stands, there remains no clear justification for Alonso's accident, but McLaren says its own investigations have ruled out any technically-induced reason for his off, even if FIA is yet to conclude its own...
