Dennis "failed" with Alonso's concussion remarks

McLaren boss Ron Dennis admitted he made a mistake when telling the press Fernando Alonso had actually not suffered concussion after his crash during testing. The Briton faced the media a few days after the accident and said Alonso only had symptoms but not actual concussion as initially reported. But Alonso was later ruled out of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix because of the concussion he had suffered.  "I wanted to be open honest. I failed."
