Sauber will take 'all necessary steps' against van der Garde claims

+ Sauber will take 'all necessary steps' to protect the team's interests, after Giedo van der Garde confirmed that he is taking legal action against the Swiss outfit. The Dutchman was Sauber's reserve driver in 2014 and claims to have a valid contract to race for the team in 2015. However, Sauber opted for Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson instead. Van der Garde says he was unfairly dismissed from the Hinwil-based squad and has taken action in the Victorian Supreme Court in Melbourne. He is seeking an urgent case so he can secure one of Sauber’s race seats ahead of the 2015 season opener. The hearing will take place on Monday.
