Video: Fan video shows moments after Alonso crash
Whilst a video of the crash itself is yet to surface, besides official circuit CCTV, a fan caught the immediate moments after the incident which appear to show Fernando Alonso motionless in his McLaren, which ties up with claims he was unconscious - a fact now confirmed by the team Marshals immediately signal for an ambulance and medical assistance. The video ends before the extrication process begins, but according to witnesses, Alonso was laid on the ground before being transferred to the waiting ambulance.
