McLaren ends day after hydraulic issue

McLaren-Honda's preparations for the 2015 Formula 1 season have taken another serious blow after a hydraulic leak and a subsequent engine change forced it to call time on its day. Despite Fernando Alonso being sidelined, McLaren had nonetheless hoped to make up significant ground during the final test of the pre-season following eight days of persistent technical issues on the new Honda-powered MP4-30. However, Jenson Button managed just seven laps before returning to the pit-lane with more problems, which have now been traced to a hydraulic failure.
