Renault: ‘Difficult to quantify our performance step'

Renault’s chief technical officer Rob White claims that things are looking up for the French outfit, ahead of the season-opening race in Australia. The suppliers of power units to Red Bull & Toro Rosso made considerable changes to their equipment over the winter in a bid to claw back the performance deficit to Mercedes that was so apparent in 2014. Although technical issues hampered both Red Bull and Toro Rosso's running in 2015's first winter test, Renault are confident that considerable progression will be made before the season opening race on March 15.
