Mercedes confirm driver allocation for first Barcelona test

Mercedes AMG Petronas has confirmed Lewis Hamilton will run on Thursday and Sunday with his team-mate Nico Rosberg in the car Friday and Sunday at the second test in Barcelona, as it looks to continue its impressive pre-season form. The reigning World champions completed the most laps of any team at the first test in Jerez, notching up a total of over eight race distances in four days with its new car the W06 Hybrid. For the second test, to be held at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona, Hamilton will hit the track first on the first and third days, with Rosberg in the cockpit on day two and four.
