Symonds hails Bottas' 'champion gene'
Williams technical chief Pat Symonds says he has high hopes that Valtteri Bottas will win a title one day as he displays the same 'champion gene' that the likes of Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher have. Competing in only his second season in Formula 1 last year, Bottas claimed six podiums to finish fourth in the Drivers' Championship. Many have hailed him as a World Champion in waiting with his odds at Paddy Power continuing to improve and Symonds, who knows a thing or two about Champions as he worked with the likes of Schumacher and Alonso, agrees.
