Vettel fastest for Ferrari in Jerez testing

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel is fastest on the first day of Formula One's pre-season testing in Jerez, Spain on Sunday. The four-time world champion from Germany, who has switched to Ferrari from Red Bull, topped the timesheets ahead of Marcus Ericsson in a Sauber. Nico Rosberg was third fastest in the new Mercedes which was unveiled immediately ahead of the day's testing. The German completed 157 laps, or around two race distances, in a demonstration of reliability of the F1 W06. Teammate and world champion Lewis Hamilton will take over on Monday's second day of testing.
