F1 hopes to improve fan experience with think-tank

A new think-tank has been created by Formula 1 to improve the overall experience for fans during and away from races next season and beyond. The Promotional Working Group will meet at various points ahead of the 2015 season and throughout, in order to brainstorm ways of making the sport more engaging for fans, as well as promoting itself better away from the track in order to attract new fans. The first meeting was held last week and chaired by Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams, who said about the group: "It's going to look at promotional opportunities around F1, to ensure that we have sustainability moving forward in to the future."
