Hamilton becomes 2014 world champion as Rosberg suffers technical issues

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   November 23rd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Lewis Hamilton won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the 2014 world championship while teammate Nico Rosberg suffered technical issues. Hamilton, who started second, had a strong start and took the lead into the first corner and began pulling out a gap to his teammate instantly. Rosberg took the lead on lap 11 after Hamilton made his first stop, but the German returned to the track third on the next lap after his stop.  Things began to go wrong for Rosberg on lap 25 when he suffered an ERS failure and started losing time.
