Red Bull excluded from qualifying for illegal front wing

Sutton Images Enlarge Both Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel have been excluded from qualifying and sent to the back of the grid at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after the stewards declared Red Bull's front wing illegal. FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer reported the team to the stewards when he discovered that the front wing flaps had been designed to flex under aerodynamic load. After meeting with Red Bull representatives, the stewards agreed that the flaps were in breach of Article 3.15, which bans moveable aerodynamics designed to give an advantage. The Red Bulls will be allowed to start from the back of the grid. The team accepted its punishment but believes it has been singled out....
