Palmer to test for Force India in Abu Dhabi
Force India has announced that Jolyon Palmer and Spike Goddard will drive for the team at next week's Abu Dhabi test.
Palmer secured the GP2 title at the last round in Russia and will compete in this weekend's season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit. The 23-year-old has never previously driven a Formula 1 car and will be at the wheel of the VJM07 on Thursday.
'Sahara Force India has shown their faith in me by offering this opportunity and I am looking forward to repaying their trust in Abu Dhabi,' he said.
'I have worked very hard for a chance like this and I want to help the team get the most from this test session. This is a team that has always promoted talent and I hope this opportunity...
