Wrong ERS setting cost Rosberg in Hamilton battle
+ Nico Rosberg says an incorrect setting cost him the chance to defend against Lewis Hamilton as the pair battled for the lead of the United States Grand Prix.
Rosberg led the race from pole, but fell behind Hamilton on lap 24 as his title rival pulled off a decisive move up the inside on the run to Turn 12.
The German shadowed his Mercedes team-mate for the remainder of the grand prix, but could not pass Hamilton, who went on to secure his fifth win in succession and his tenth of the season.
While it was not immediately apparent in the cockpit, on later inspection Mercedes found that Rosberg had set his Energy Recovery Boost for a delayed response, rather than an instant boost while...
