Hamilton admits struggle with brakes

Mercedes AMG Petronas Championship leader Lewis Hamilton admitted that he struggled with the brakes on his Mercedes W05 Hybrid throughout qualifying for the United States Grand Prix. Hamilton, who topped all three practice sessions, was unable to match Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in Q3 and had to settle for second position, 0.376s behind his rival. While admitting that Rosberg was quicker, Hamilton believed that his brake issues accentuated his struggles. "Nico did a great job," said Hamilton, who won the event in 2012.
