Caterham F1 bosses threaten to quit
– Caterham's new bosses have warned that they could be forced to step away from the F1 team, claiming that Tony Fernandes still owns the Leafield outfit after failing to transfer the relevant shares.Fernandes sold the team to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, advised by ex-Formula 1 team boss Colin Kolles, at the end of June.But problems ensued as staff members were laid off, bailiffs seized goods from the factory and, most recently, Caterham Sports Limited (CSL) – a supplier to the F1 team – entered administration.In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the new owners said they have been left "in the invidious position of funding the team without...
