Fernandes says Caterham’s buyers failed to meet conditions of agreement

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   October 23rd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Tony Fernandes has hit back at comments from Caterham’s buyers, saying that he did not transfer shares to them as they failed to meet their end of the deal. On Wednesday Engavest SA, a consortium who tried to bought the team at the end of June, accused Fernandes of failing to transfer his shares to them which meant that they do not hold the legal title to the team. Fernandes hit back those claims in a statement saying that he had not transferred the shares because Engavest had not fulfilled ‘any of the conditions in the agreement’. “In...
