Hamilton stays on top in final practice
– Lewis Hamilton held on to his position at the top of the timesheets during Saturday's final practice session for the Russian Grand Prix at Sochi Autodrom, three tenths clear of Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg.While Rosberg controlled the early Medium-tyre runs, Hamilton again displayed superior pace on the Soft rubber, producing a best effort of 1:38.726.Hamilton could have lapped even faster, but he wildly lost control of his car under braking for the penultimate corner, only narrowly avoiding the barriers.Rosberg was part of a group of late improvers, narrowly beating Williams driver Valtteri Bottas to second place.Over three quarters of a second back, Daniel Ricciardo led Red...
