Marussia asks for patience after Bianchi's Suzuka crash

Sutton Images Enlarge The Marussia Formula One team has asked for patience and understanding regarding further medical updates on Jules Bianchi after he sustained severe head injuries during an accident at the Japanese Grand Prix. Bianchi crashed into a tractor recovery vehicle that was removing Adrian Sutil's Sauber from the run-off at Turn 7. He was quickly taken to hospital where he underwent surgery before being transferred to an intensive care unit. All official updates will come through the team and it has asked for patience until the Mie General Hospital and the Bianchi family decides it is appropriate to issue further news.
