Bottas: Car upgrades working well

Valtteri Bottas says the upgrades taken to Japan by Williams Martini Racing worked well during Friday's practice sessions at the Suzuka circuit. The Finn was fourth fastest in practice one and finished the second session in third place, behind the two Mercedes drivers. He is anticipating a close fight between Williams, Red Bull and Ferrari. 'From the first lap the car balance was good so we have made a good step forward,' he said. 'The upgrades we have brought have worked well, which is positive to see.
