Hamilton sets the pace in interrupted Suzuka second practice

+ Lewis Hamilton set the pace for Mercedes during an interrupted second practice for the Japanese Grand Prix. Hamilton, second fastest in the morning, posted a best lap of 1:35.078 to top the 90-minute long session, edging his team-mate and title rival Nico Rosberg to the top spot by three tenths. Valtteri Bottas was third for Williams in what was a disrupted session at Suzuka, interrupted by a series of accidents as well as two red flag periods. Local favourite Kamui Kobayashi, who missed opening practice, crashed his Caterham early on at the esses, while Daniel Ricciardo made an uncharacteristic error at the final corner, damaging the front-left corner of his Red Bull and prompting the...
