Lotus confirms chassis design mistake
– Lotus team owner Gérard Lopez has confirmed that the Enstone team made a critical mistake with the chassis this year and that it will now be a "difficult season all the way to the end".Lotus has struggled throughout 2014 and there was little let up for them at Monza last weekend, although unlike in Belgium, when Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado both retired, the outfit did get both cars to the chequered flag, albeit well outside the points – something they have only managed twice to date, with Grosjean finishing eighth in both Spain and Monaco."We had a lot of issues at the beginning of the season with the drivetrain and then somehow midway through the season...
