A day at home to forget for Ferrari

It was a disappointing day for the Ferrari drivers before their home 'tifosi' - fans – at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday. Having qualified a disappointing 11th, Kimi Raikkonen finished only ninth while teammate Fernando Alonso's race ended on lap 29 due to a technical problem that resulted in the Spaniard pulling to a stop at the end of the main straightaway. 'After a long run of trouble-free races, it's a real shame I had to retire just here in Monza, in front of all our fans,' said Alonso, who had a problem with the energy recovery system.
