Vandoorne encouraged by progress at McLaren
McLaren junior driver Stoffel Vandoorne is encouraged by the progress being made at the team with its 2014 car after testing at Silverstone today.
The Belgian GP2 driver finished sixth on the timesheets, 1.2 seconds adrift of pace-setter Felipe Massa after completing 71 laps in the MP4-29. Having last tested for the team following the Spanish Grand Prix, he was pleased to be back behind the wheel of an F1 car.
