Canada GP: Qualifying notes - Caterham
Kamui Kobayashi: 'FP3 started more positively than yesterday. The tyre warm-up was better and we made a good improvement to the braking so the work done last night looked like it had paid off. We still needed to work on traction and taking out some of the understeer I had in the chicanes, but overall it was better.'We ran through the programme until the performance run when I had to stop the car with a transmission problem. It's similar to the problem Marcus had in FP2 but we had it fixed for quali after the guys did a good job repairing the car over lunch.'In quali we did two runs on the supersofts but the red flag at the end of the session meant I couldn't improve my time.
