Ricciardo reprimanded for dangerous pit move
Daniel Ricciardo has earned his first reprimand of the season for an incident during first free practice for the Canadian Grand Prix. The stewards deemed Ricciardo's overtake on Pastor Maldonado in the pit lane "dangerous" and therefore imposed a reprimand, "The driver of car 3 drove in a manner that was potentially dangerous to others in the pit lane," the stewards' decision read. If a driver collects three reprimands during a 12-month period, they will be excluded from taking part in the following event.
