Maldonado ends Barcelona test on top
Pastor Maldonado concluded the two day Barcelona test on top for Lotus, setting a best time towards the end of the day while running on the super soft tyre. Nico Rosberg, who was fastest since noon, improved his time but ended nearly a second off of the Venezuelan's effort.
It became a much busier day than yesterday, with both Maldonado and Rosberg completing 102 laps. Rosberg started the day with a new megaphone exhaust before reverting to a conventional exhaust before noon. Stoffel Vandoorne in the McLaren became the busiest man on track, completing 135 laps while on testing duties for Pirelli, as well at Daniel Juncadella in the Force India.
