Ricciardo elated after maiden podium finish

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo expressed his elation after claiming a podium on his Red Bull debut in front of his home fans at the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo started on the front row of the grid and maintained his position as he collected second place. "If I look back at where we were three weeks ago, we had never done a race distance up until today, so I didn't have much confidence to see chequered flag or see a podium position," he said on the podium after the race.
