Family are informed that only a miracle will save Schumacher 10 March, 2014 Early last week news on Michael Schumacher's condition appeared positive as it was reported that the Formula 1 legend was taken off a respirator, but it turns out that the situation is very bleak as his chances of recovery are very slim. Official news is restricted but those close to the family and the story reveal that the diagnosis continues to be negative. A senior German journalist following the case said, 'He is in terrible shape but until the family issue a statement we cannot write about it.
