Eric Boullier carrying out team principal role at McLaren
Eric Boullier has explained how his new role at McLaren is incorporating the role of team principal, as the Frenchman officially began his career at the Woking-based outfit during the second winter test at Bahrain. Initially Boullier was signed by McLaren as their Racing Director, however with Martin Whitmarsh’s continuation within the outfit still unclear, the former Lotus team principal has effectively begun assuming a similar role with McLaren.
After an utterly disastrous 2013 season for the Woking-based outfit, which saw them frustratingly fail to step onto the podium all year for the first time since the early 1980s, change was expected by many ahead of the new season. With Ron...
