Eric Boullier joins McLaren as racing director

Having departed from his position as team principal at Lotus, Eric Boullier has emerged at McLaren as its racing director, a role that the Frenchman will assume on Monday. In his position, Boullier will report to the chief executive officer of the Formula One team, who is yet to be named, who in turn will report to chairman and McLaren Group CEO Ron Dennis. For now, current chief operating officer Jonathan Neale is the acting CEO of the McLaren F1 team in what has been described as a “new operating structure”.
