STR question 'spirit' of Lotus twin-tusk

F1 could be facing its first technical row of the year after Toro Rosso questioned the legality of Lotus' twin-tusk approach to the nose. While most teams have unveiled either platypus or dolphin noses, Lotus released a picture of a twin-tusk design that is more like an elephant. However, Toro Rosso, who considered the Lotus idea before ruling it out on technical grounds, now want clarification on the Lotus design. "The Lotus nose needs clarification, but it's a very clever idea," said Key. "We looked at it early on, when the car was quite a bit less mature than now, and in theory it was working well.
