Eric Boullier leaves Lotus

Eric Boullier has left Lotus, paving the way for a sensational transfer to McLaren as a successor to the seemingly-ousted Martin Whitmarsh.Lotus have announced that co-Chairman, Gérard Lopez, will combine his position on the board with the role of Team Principal with immediate effect. However, it is the bombshell departure of Boullier which could massive ramifications along the pitlane with the Frenchman already tipped to replace Whitmarsh following the return to power of Ron Dennis at McLaren.
