Caterham seeking 'experienced' driver
Caterham are "very, very close" to confirming their 2014 driver line-up which will include at least one experienced driver.
Although last season Caterham raced rookie driver Giedo van der Garde and Charles Pic, who had just one year's experience under his belt, this season the backmarker outfit wants a driver who has been around.
Heikki Kovalainen was initially the favourite to return to his former team, however, in recent weeks Kamui Kobayashi has also been linked to the seat.
"There are lots of drivers being linked with Caterham at the moment which is very good news for us," a team spokesman told Sky Sports Online.
