Booth: Marussia needs to move forward
– Marussia team principal John Booth has said the Banbury-based outfit needs to ‘push on’ this year and once again ‘move forward’. Marussia secured tenth place in the Constructors’ Championship last season, beating rivals and fellow strugglers Caterham thanks to Jules Bianchi’s 13th place finish in Malaysia. Despite that ‘victory’, however, the squad remains a long way off the midfield and the likes of Williams, Toro Rosso and Sauber. “I think we've improved operationally, year in, year out,” Booth told N. “We look like a proper F1 team, we operate like a proper F1 team; pit stops we're very good at and all the basics.
