Brundle slams double points decision
em>Sky Sports F1 commentator and pundit Martin Brundle has voiced his disapproval after the FIA announced that double points will be awarded in the final race of the season from 2014 onwards. “Double points for the last F1 GP of the season looks like an answer to a question nobody was asking,” the former F1 driver said via his Twitter account, @MBrundleF1. “Devalues the other races too.” Fellow Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft and occasional Sky Sports F1 pundit Karun Chandhok were similarly unimpressed and also took to Twitter to air their views. “The new F1 rules - like the numbers & 5 sec penalty ideas, don't like the double points (too much of a lottery) & cost cap...
